What’s coming?
Located on the corner of Best Street and Scotchmer Street in Fitzroy North, this redevelopment will revitalise the existing supermarket and outdoor spaces. It will also bring 57 apartments, 4 townhouses and underground car parks to the Fitzroy North precinct.
The Piedimonte family has been refining this design since 2016. Extensive improvements to traffic movements, noise reduction and architectural designs have been informed by feedback from the community.
In May 2023, the Piedimonte Development received Endorsed Town Planning Approval of all the planning documentation.
Where are we now?
The Piedimonte family are proud to share their new laneway design, which is a better design for all. The new laneway design considers the needs of the community, neighbours, future residents, and commercial users. The Piedimonte’s Redevelopment is now in the final stages of planning with construction forecast to commence in 2025.
